Sesane’s Return Could Light Up Pirates’ Defense in August
Sesane started the current campaign in outstanding form, quickly becoming a key figure in Orlando Pirates’ defense. However, his season was abruptly halted in February when he suffered a serious tendon injury. The rupture required surgery, and doctors estimate a recovery period of four to six months. If all goes well with his rehab, Sesane could be ready to step back onto the pitch by the beginning of the 2025-2026 season. Coincidentally, Sesane turned 25 on May 30, marking a milestone birthday amid his recovery journey.
