Kaizer Chiefs are expected to officially confirm the departure of midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane, who joined the club in June 2023 from Cape Town City for around R3.5 million. The 30-year-old struggled to find his footing at Amakhosi, making just 13 league appearances in his first season and none last year.

Earlier this year, Mdantsane was loaned to Richards Bay FC but only featured in three matches, signaling limited opportunities for him at Chiefs. Reports suggest that Chiefs are finalizing the details of his exit, with a meeting between Mdantsane and Football Manager Bobby Motaung planned to formally conclude his time at the club.

This move comes as part of a broader squad overhaul by Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the upcoming season. The club recently released four players, including defender Edmilson Dove, Sabelo Radebe, Njabulo Blom, and Ranga Chivaviro, in an effort to refresh the team’s roster.

The club is now gearing up for pre-season training in the Netherlands as they prepare for the 2025 campaign.
