Orlando Pirates have wasted no time gearing up for the next PSL season, reportedly securing five new players even before the transfer window officially opens.

The Buccaneers are now closing in on their sixth signing — another exciting Bafana Bafana talent — as talks heat up to bring winger Tshepang Moremi from AmaZulu to Mayfair.

The first confirmed national team recruit is Sinoxolo Kwayiba, who joined Pirates from Chippa United. His arrival marks a significant boost to Pirates’ squad ahead of next season.

But the Bucs aren’t stopping there. According to insider reports, negotiations with AmaZulu winger Moremi are progressing well.

“AmaZulu and Orlando Pirates are in active discussions over Tshepang Moremi,” a source revealed to FARPost. “Pirates are very serious about landing him, and there’s little standing in the way of the deal.”

Moremi is seen as a valuable addition, someone who can strengthen Pirates’ squad depth as they prepare to compete fiercely both in the domestic league and back on the African stage in the CAF Champions League.

Meanwhile, Pirates have already confirmed the departures of four players — Innocent Maela, Paseka Mako, Thabiso Monyane, and Miguel Timm. Notably, two former Bucs have reportedly moved to rivals Kaizer Chiefs.

With five signings already secured, Moremi could soon become the sixth new face at Orlando Pirates as the club looks to rebuild and challenge for silverware.
