Kaizer Chiefs have decided to step away from pursuing Elias Mokwana and are now fully focused on another exciting target.
New reports reveal that Chiefs are set to reignite talks to sign Oswin Appollis, the talented 23-year-old from Polokwane who recently featured for Bafana Bafana in a 0-0 draw against Tanzania.
Manager Nasreddine Nabi, often praised for his tactical brilliance, also has his eye on Feisal Salum, who impressed playing for Tanzania against South Africa.
An insider told Soccer Laduma, “Chiefs’ interest in Appollis is no secret, and negotiations are at an advanced stage, with just a few details left to sort out. But Mokwana? That deal is off the table.”
Meanwhile, the transfer buzz doesn’t stop there. Rumors are swirling that Orlando Pirates’ right-back Thabiso Monyane could be on Chiefs’ radar, especially since Pirates have a crowded lineup in that position with Deano van Rooyen and Bandile Shandu already competing for starting spots.
