Fiacre Ntwari is once again set to enjoy international football as he prepares to earn his fifth cap for the Rwandan national team—despite not having made a single appearance for Kaizer Chiefs since his arrival at Naturena.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has been included in Rwanda’s squad for the upcoming FIFA international fixtures, a testament to the confidence placed in him by his national team coaches, even while his club career in South Africa remains in limbo. Ntwari joined Kaizer Chiefs in 2023 with hopes of making a name for himself in the DStv Premiership. However, over a year later, he is yet to feature in an official match for the Glamour Boys.
His last competitive action came in national colours, where he has slowly but surely been building a solid reputation. Since his last involvement with Kaizer Chiefs, Ntwari has already represented Rwanda four times and is set to extend that tally as the Amavubi gear up for crucial international ties.
For Ntwari, these FIFA breaks are more than just routine call-ups—they are valuable opportunities to sharpen his form, gain confidence, and showcase his talent on a stage where he is clearly trusted.
With the 2025/26 season on the horizon and changes expected at Chiefs, it remains to be seen whether the Rwandan shot-stopper will finally get his chance at club level—or whether his future lies elsewhere. For now, though, he remains a key figure for his country and will once again don the gloves with pride.
