Following recent reports linking TS Galaxy star Khulumani Ndamane with a potential move to Romanian champions FCSB, the club’s outspoken owner has now addressed the rumours—bringing some clarity to the situation.
Earlier this month, speculation emerged suggesting that FCSB were eyeing another South African talent after the success of Siyabonga Ngezana, who helped the club retain their SuperLiga title and earned a spot in the 2024/25 Team of the Season.
Ngezana’s impressive impact has clearly boosted South Africa’s profile in FCSB’s scouting department, with local reports claiming the club had opened talks with TS Galaxy for the rising 21-year-old Ndamane—who recently made his debut for Bafana Bafana.
But in a surprising twist, FCSB owner Gigi Becali has now poured cold water on those expectations. Speaking to SPORT.RO, he stated:
“There will be no more signings. The season is about to begin and that’s it—there’s nothing more to say. Goodbye!”
He added that the squad is already overcrowded: “We don’t even have space on the roster. We’ve already had to remove three players.”
With that, any immediate move for Ndamane appears off the table—for now.
