Kaizer Chiefs are making serious moves in the transfer market, showing interest in several high-profile players from both Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
Orlando Pirates Duo on Amakhosi’s Radar
Chiefs have reportedly been offered Orlando Pirates right-back Thabiso Monyane. At the same time, talks are said to be at an advanced stage for Paseka Mako, another Bucs defender. While the club hasn’t officially commented, sources suggest that a deal for Mako could be finalized soon, with a decision on Monyane expected shortly.
Amakhosi Plotting Sundowns Swoop
On the Sundowns front, Kaizer Chiefs are keeping tabs on a number of players who may be on their way out of Chloorkop. These include:
- Sipho Mbule
- Peter Shalulile
- Neo Maema
- Thapelo Maseko
- Terrence Mashego
Mbule’s agent, Mike Makaab, confirmed that his client has been offered to Chiefs, saying:
“It’s now up to the club to decide, and we have to respect that.”
The Glamour Boys are also watching Shalulile’s contract situation with interest and may pounce if there’s an opportunity.
With several Sundowns players reportedly worth around R50 million linked to Chiefs, it’s clear that Naturena is gearing up for a potential overhaul ahead of the new season.
