Kaizer Chiefs, under the leadership of coach Nasreddine Nabi, are preparing to head to Europe for their annual pre-season camp this July as they look to build momentum for the new season.
The Glamour Boys had a rollercoaster first campaign with Nabi at the helm. While they lifted the Nedbank Cup, their league form was inconsistent, ultimately missing out on a top-eight finish in the Betway Premiership.
With hopes of a much stronger start in the coming season, Nabi is placing great emphasis on a productive pre-season — and the European tour will be a crucial part of that preparation.
New Blood Included in Chiefs’ European Squad
Notably, the travelling squad features eight new players, signaling fresh energy and competition within the team. While it’s not yet confirmed if all will be officially signed, their inclusion in the tour speaks volumes about Nabi’s plans.
According to African Times, the squad includes four new signings:
- Paseka Mako
- Thabiso Monyane
- Etiosa Ighodaro
- Asanele Velebayi
Alongside these newcomers, four promising academy prospects will also join the senior team in the Netherlands:
- Naledi Hlongwane
- Thulani Mabaso
- Kabelo Nkgwesa
- Manqoba Ozoemena
