Kaizer Chiefs are acting quickly to tighten up their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season. Here’s the latest update on their transfer activity.

Players Departing Naturena

Sabelo Radebe has officially left Kaizer Chiefs. The 25-year-old, who debuted for the senior team back in the 2017/18 season, only made two league appearances this past campaign and totals 18 appearances overall. Alongside him, striker Ranga Chivaviro, who struggled to find the net, is also departing. Meanwhile, Njabulo Blom will return to the MLS as his loan spell ends. The club continues to keep an eye on Tanzanian midfield maestro Feisal Salum, with talks progressing.

Salum to Chiefs? Deal Could Be Near

Feisal Salum has been impressing for Azam FC in Tanzania’s Premier League and could soon become a Glamour Boys recruit.

Learning from Past Mistakes

The Chiefs’ management is still cautious following the disappointing spells of high-profile signings Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly. Both players were among the top earners but failed to deliver consistent performances at Naturena.

An insider shared, “The club feels they’ve learned their lesson after the Billiat and Dolly signings. They invested heavily but didn’t get the expected returns. That’s why they are targeting other attacking options apart from Percy Tau. At the moment, Tau isn’t on the shopping list. But in football, things can always change in the future — just not right now.”
