Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso has announced his final 26-man squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, set to kick off this weekend.
Themba Zwane will captain Masandawana, with Ronwen Williams taking on the role of vice-captain.
Group F showdown
Sundowns have been drawn into Group F alongside German giants Borussia Dortmund, Brazil’s Fluminense FC, and South Korea’s Ulsan Hyundai FC.
Only the top two teams from each of the eight groups will advance to the Round of 16, making every match crucial.

Among the 32 teams in this revamped Club World Cup, Mamelodi Sundowns represent Africa alongside Al Ahly, Esperance, and Wydad Casablanca.
Cardoso’s squad boasts a diverse mix: 20 South Africans, plus two Brazilians, a Chilean, a Ugandan, a Zimbabwean, and a Namibian.
Veteran Ugandan goalkeeper Denis Onyango is the oldest player at 40, while 19-year-old South African winger Kutlwano Letlhaku is the youngest.
