Kaizer Chiefs are on the hunt for dynamic goal scorers, and could this Europe-based Bafana star be their next target?
Mihlali Mayambela, currently playing for Aris Limassol in Cyprus, is reportedly open to coming back to South Africa.
The 28-year-old winger, brother of former Orlando Pirates playmaker Mark Mayambela, has spent nearly a decade and a half across Europe, with spells in Sweden, Portugal, Israel, and Cyprus. He has also represented South Africa 16 times. This season, Mayambela has contributed 4 goals and 5 assists in 23 appearances in the Cypriot top league.
According to iDiski Times, Mayambela prefers a move back to Kaizer Chiefs, the club where he developed as a player. Aris Limassol is reportedly willing to consider offers for the Cape Town-born attacker.
With Kaizer Chiefs eager to strengthen their attack, could Mayambela’s homecoming be on the cards?
