Could Nemtajela Be the New Engine in Midfield?
In response to Timm’s departure, Pirates have quickly acted by targeting 23-year-old midfield dynamo Masindi “Confidence” Nemtajela. After a solid season with Marumo Gallants—featuring 17 league appearances, one goal, two assists, and four yellow cards—Nemtajela is viewed as a long-term solution.
With veteran midfielder Makhehleni Makhaula extending his stay by one more year, Nemtajela could be groomed as his eventual successor. His energetic playing style and tactical discipline make him a strong contender to wear the prestigious number 4 shirt.
